New York Golf Club (NYGC), backed by Cohen Private Ventures, will feature a formidable lineup for the upcoming inaugural 2025 TGL season. The roster was proudly unveiled by none other than Steve Cohen, the owner of NYGC and MLB's New York Mets.

“New Yorkers expect and deserve the best, and we couldn’t be more excited to have four of the best players in the world serve as an extension of the thriving golf and sporting culture of our city and region,” said Cohen.

Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Cameron Young comprise the NYGC roster. Fowler, a fan favorite for his spirited performances and professional wins, expressed his excitement about representing one of the greatest cities in the world in TGL.

“I am thrilled to be joining New York Golf Club for the inaugural TGL season,” said Fowler. “It is an incredible opportunity to represent one of the greatest cities in the world, and I look forward to competing in 2025.”

Fowler's experience, coupled with Schauffele's consistent top-10 achievements and Olympic Gold Medal glory, encapsulates the sheer caliber of talent pooling in NYGC.

Fitzpatrick, celebrated for his triumph at the 2022 U.S. Open, and New York's very own Young round out what looks to be one of the most talented rosters in the TGL.

A League Like No Other

The TGL, a simulator golf league masterminded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, is set to redefine competitive golf with its 15-match regular season leading to an invigorating championship playoff. Every match offers an immersive experience, with players mic'd up, providing fans an up-close perspective of the strategic and emotional dynamics in play.

The league was set to launch in 2024 but was delayed until January 2025 due to a power system failure at the inflatable dome structure that caused the arena to deflate.
