The Philadelphia 76ers versus the New York Knicks game ended in controversy according to renowned TV analyst Stephen A. Smith, who believed that Tyrese Maxey was robbed when a clear-cut foul wasn’t called in his favor. This led to the Knicks getting the advantage and eventually coming out on top 104-101.

Stephen A. Smith, a known New York Knicks fan, surprisingly spoke in favor of a rival team even though the incident favored his team.

I saw Tyrese Maxey get mugged, if I’m being totally honest. He got fouled at least two or three teams. There’s no reason on earth why that call shouldn’t have been made. However, before that happened, Tyrese Maxey had a clear-cut foul when Brunson tugged his shirt and was shoved to the ground by Josh Hart, and Head Coach Nick Nurse denied the opportunity to call a timeout amidst the chaos.
