Samuel Iling-Junior is coming off a strong international break as he scored twice with England U-21, while his Juventus season has had more valleys than peaks. He has been given more chances in recent games but hasn’t fully exploited them. His contract is up in 2025. His departure is more likely than his permanence at this stage, TuttoSport informs.

The officials are unlikely to risk losing him for nothing. However, he wouldn’t be a lock to stay even if he re-upped, which would give the front office more leverage on the transfer market.

Juventus value Iling-Junior €15/20M. There have been inquiries from the Premier League and France in recent windows but the management wasn’t considering selling him at the time. Per Fabrizio Romano (via SOSFanta), some Serie A teams are interested as well. At this stage, the two parties aren’t in touch to negotiate a new contract, although their relationship is sound.

The 20-year-old was linked to Monza in January. He has logged 19 appearances so far, scoring once and providing 2 assists. He was poached from Chelsea for just €130k back in 2020. The speedster has featured 37 times with the Bianconeri’s first team.

Our Take on Juventus and Iling-Junior

He’s starting to hone in on the wingback role, but, given his traits, he’d be much more comfortable in a trident or 4-4-2, even only as a super-sub. They’d have no choice but to sell without a renewal before the summer window.
